Living somewhere between Steely Dan and Frank Zappa, and at times overly political (if like me, you turn to music to escape politics), this is an album definitely worth listening to exactly…one time. I don't find it a record that lends itself to repeat listening, which is a shame, because there are some very fine moments here, but alas, there's just too much “other stuff” in the way.

I'm not going to highlight a particular song, just listen to the entire album...one time. See what you think.
