Disney meets Pavarotti meets death metal! 18th studio album from this Canadian metal musician. Sorry to say it, but I think this album is over rated. Yes, there, I said it! Some of this album is fantastic and extremely innovative, but it's marred but some insufferable moments. There's so much good here, but the album just isn't that listenable given the harsh moments on the ears scattered throughout. Many people love this album, but I suspect not many have it in their regular rotation to listen to. I would have loved to have edited this album down from 1 hr and 14 minutes to 50 minutes and it would have been a 4.5-Star album, but as is, it's only a 3.5.
