Debut album by Marillion's keyboardist Mark Kelly's side project band, Marathon. A pleasant offering indeed, particularly with the vocal work of Oliver Smith (Peter Gabriel meets John Mitchell meets Mark Trueack). Mark admitted when he was looking for a singer, he specifically wanted someone with the "sound" of Peter Gabriel. He definitely found that in Oliver, and it works brilliantly!
At only 43 minutes, I wish it were a bit longer, but Mark wanted something specifically to end up on vinyl.
Solid debut not to be missed. Will satisfy Marillion fans and new fans alike. 4.5 Stars.
